I feel pity for students in Pakistan. They can be fooled so easily that one can not even imagine. Primarily because they don’t explore and confirm. They just rely on one source of information which causes them to opt the wrong way.
If a student asks me about foreign education things I will going to ask him/her would be following:
- Where ever you go, are you planning to come back right after your studies completion or how long you going to stay?
- Which country you want to go United Kingdom/Canada/Australia/USA?
- How much money do you have?
Some basic facts and figures students should be clear about:
Masters Program: 2 years | Fees: Average Annual fee 5 million | Permanent Residence after 4 years | Part-time jobs available | Bank Statement 4.5 m for 3 months in bank account |
Only students choose Australia who wants to either stay longer after their degree or want to stay permanently in Australia. This country really helps a candidate who holds good profile
Masters Program: 2 years | Fees: Average Annual fee 5 million | Permanent Residence after 2 years | Part-time jobs available | Bank Statement 4.5 m for 3 months in bank account | Visa application time 3 months
Canada allows you to stay after your degree for 2 years and work for full time and as soon as you complete your 2 years your visa easily gets renew and you get PR status. Because of the fact, they need a resource for their country so normally they opt soft policy for hardworking students. So If you are planning to go for settlement Canada is one of the best options at the moment. The government does support you.
Masters Program: 2 years | Fees: Average Annual fee 7 million | Permanent Residence after years | Part-time jobs available | Bank Statement 4.5 m for 3 months in bank account | Visa application time 3-5 months |
The USA is believed to be a tough country to get a visa but that does not mean they don’t accept students. Visa processing time is between 3-5 months, they expect you to be patient. But once you land there and completes your masters they allow you to stay for 2 years and earn as much as you could and they normally don’t force you to leave right away.
Masters Program: 1.5 years | Fees: Average Annual fee 1.5 million | Permanent.Residence: No way | Part-time jobs available | Bank Statement 2.8 m for 28 Dyas in bank account | Visa application time 15 Days |
The UK takes only 15 days to let you know they have or have not accepted. Shortest Visa processing time. Don’t think about the Permanent residence at any cost. United Kingdom is only recommended to those students who are interested to come back to Pakistan as soon as they finish study because the UK only gives you 120 days to either find a job or go for further studies. Both options are not practical. So the UK is not the right choice for students who want to stay for longer time. Do not believe anyone.
