Strived for 14 years to be Champions of Europe: Liverpool
The 2019 Champions League final got underway in Madrid on Saturday, and Liverpool struck first thanks to a penalty kick. Moussa Sissoko was called for a controversial handball inside the box just 23 seconds in, it was confirmed by the video assistant referee, and Mohamed Salah put the kick away to give the Reds the early lead.
Harry Kane is on the field for Spurs after being out with injury for two months, sending Lucas to the bench. At the half, 45 minutes remain and potentially more if Tottenham can draw level.
