What if he leaves the Pakistan team?

This would be an absolute disaster as ECB is considering and approached M Arthur to join as Head Coach, on the second hand SriLanka Cricket Board has also offered him to join for a coaching role. For instance, let’s assume if he joins either of them who would make sure he won’t reveal the KPI’s of Pakistan team to anyone else. It’s obvious that he knows much about Pakistan Cricket, players, strength, weaknesses so if he joins either England or SriLanka and trains them to counter Pakistan it will be savage.

The three main stakeholders of Pakistan cricket — head coach Mickey Arthur, chief selector Inzamam-ul-Haq and captain Sarfraz Ahmed — appeared before the Pakistan Cricket Board’s cricket committee here on Friday to express the views on their performance during the last four years.

The meeting lasting four hours was chaired by PCB managing director Wasim Khan. It first heard Sarfraz, then Inzamam and in the end, Arthur appeared to give his views.

The three also clarified their position on a few questions they were asked by the cricket committee members namely Misbah-ul-Haq, Wasim Akram (through video link), and two ex-officio members PCB director international Zakir Khan and director academies Mudassar Nazar.

Director domestic cricket Haroon Rasheed, who is part of the cricket committee, did not attend the meeting. According to the PCB spokesman, Haroon was busy in finalizing the upcoming domestic cricket program, therefore, he could not attend.

PCB is considering Micky Arthur, Wasim Akram and Misbah ul Haq for Head Coach but it’s not yet finalized so let’s see where the feather of HC lands. However, it’s also on consideration to take back the leading role from Sarfaraz from all formats and to bring a different face to lead the green team.
